Overview

Where Pro 64 fits.

Pro 64 runs a 64-core AMD EPYC 9555P with 768 GB of DDR5-6000 ECC, four 3.84 TB NVMe Gen5 drives and two 25 Gbps ports with unmetered traffic. Four drives allow RAID 10 or a ZFS pool of mirrors, which makes it the Pro model for private cloud hosts, CI farms and high-traffic platforms. It costs $1,349/mo and is ready in minutes in 6 locations.

Ideal for

  • Private cloud with Proxmox VE
  • CI/CD build farms
  • High-traffic web platforms
  • Large Kubernetes nodes

64 cores, 128 threads

EPYC 9555P at 3.2 GHz base and 4.4 GHz boost, the largest CPU in the Pro series.

Four NVMe Gen5 drives

4 × 3.84 TB gives 7.68 TB in RAID 10 or about 11.5 TB with single parity, before filesystem overhead (estimate).

Two 25 Gbps ports

2 × 25 Gbps with unmetered traffic, for platforms that move a lot of data in and out.

FAQ

Pro 64, answered.

How should I set up four NVMe drives?

For VM and database storage, RAID 10 or a ZFS pool of two mirrors gives 7.68 TB with strong random I/O and survives one failed drive per mirror. RAIDZ1 or RAID 5 gives about 11.5 TB with lower random-write performance and single-drive protection. For CI caches and scratch space, a stripe across all four drives gives 15.36 TB without redundancy.

Should I choose Pro 64 or Max 96?

Max 96 has 96 cores, 1,152 GB of memory and 4 × 7.68 TB of NVMe for $1,899/mo, but it is assembled to order, delivered the same day and offered in four locations. Pro 64 is ready in minutes in six locations and costs $550/mo less, so it is the better fit unless you need the extra cores or memory in one machine.

Is Pro 64 a good private cloud host?

Yes. Proxmox VE installs in one click, 128 threads and 768 GB host a large number of VMs, and RAID 10 on four NVMe Gen5 drives gives fast VM storage. As a single-socket server, it needs only a one-socket Proxmox VE subscription if you choose to buy one.

Where is Pro 64 available and how fast is delivery?

Pro 64 is available in Ashburn, Dallas, Los Angeles, Amsterdam, Frankfurt and Singapore. It is pre-racked and burn-in tested, and usually delivered within 15 minutes of payment with your operating system installed.
