Core series · AMD EPYC 4005
Sixteen Zen 5 cores at up to 5.7 GHz, DDR5 ECC memory and NVMe storage on a single-socket EPYC 4005 platform. Core servers are built for per-thread speed and are ready in minutes in all 10 locations.

Configurations
Monthly prices in USD, excluding taxes. Unmetered traffic, DDoS protection, IPMI and 24/7 support included.
Why Core series
The EPYC 4545P boosts to 5.4 GHz and the EPYC 4585PX to 5.7 GHz, the top boost clock in the lineup, for single-threaded and latency-sensitive code.
128 GB on Core 16 and 192 GB on Core 16X, with error-correcting DDR5 that corrects single-bit errors and detects double-bit errors.
Both Core configurations can be deployed in every location, from New York to Sydney, so the same server can run close to each of your user bases.
Core servers are pre-racked and burn-in tested, and usually delivered within 15 minutes of payment with your operating system installed.
Buying guide
AMD EPYC 4005 brings Zen 5 cores to a compact single-socket server platform. It trades the core counts and 12 memory channels of EPYC 9005 for very high clock speeds: both Core CPUs have 16 cores and 32 threads, with boost clocks of 5.4 GHz on the EPYC 4545P and 5.7 GHz on the EPYC 4585PX. Memory is DDR5 ECC on two channels, storage is a pair of NVMe Gen4 drives, and every Core server has a 10 Gbps port with unmetered traffic.
That profile suits workloads where per-thread speed and predictable latency matter more than parallelism: web applications and APIs, game servers, CI runners, small and medium databases, and single-tenant hosting for one product or customer.
Core 16 ($299/mo) pairs the EPYC 4545P with 128 GB of memory and 2 × 1.92 TB of NVMe. It is the entry point of the lineup and a sound default for application servers.
Core 16X ($399/mo) uses the EPYC 4585PX with 3D V-Cache: 128 MB of L3 instead of 64 MB, a 4.3 GHz base clock instead of 3.0 GHz, 192 GB of memory and 2 × 3.84 TB of NVMe. Choose it for game servers, simulation and databases whose working set benefits from a larger cache, or when you need the extra memory and storage.
If you need more than 16 cores, more than 192 GB of memory or a 25 Gbps port, move up to the Pro series.

FAQ
For most web stacks, APIs, game servers and CI jobs, per-core speed and memory latency matter more than core count, and 16 Zen 5 cores at up to 5.7 GHz cover a lot of ground. If you run many virtual machines, large parallel builds or memory-bandwidth-heavy databases, the Pro series adds 32 to 64 cores, 12 memory channels and NVMe Gen5.
Core 16 and Core 16X are available in all 10 locations: New York, Ashburn, Dallas, Los Angeles, Amsterdam, Frankfurt, London, Singapore, Tokyo and Sydney. Both are pre-racked and usually delivered within 15 minutes of payment with your operating system installed.
Yes. Proxmox VE is available as a one-click image, and 32 threads with 128 or 192 GB of memory are enough for a handful of VMs or containers. For larger virtualization hosts, the Pro series offers up to 128 threads and 768 GB of memory.
Billing is monthly with no long-term contract, so you can order a Pro server, copy your data over a free private VLAN in the same location and then cancel the Core server, which stays active until the end of its paid period. Pro servers are available in eight locations; Tokyo and Sydney currently offer the Core series only.
