Data stays in the UK
Since Brexit, the UK has had its own data protection regime. A London server keeps personal data physically in the UK, which is often the simplest answer to UK data-residency requirements.
United Kingdom · Europe
London is a global financial center and a major interconnection hub between continental Europe and North America. Host here for users in the UK and Ireland, and for customers who need their data to stay in the United Kingdom.

Why London
Since Brexit, the UK has had its own data protection regime. A London server keeps personal data physically in the UK, which is often the simplest answer to UK data-residency requirements.
London is one of the world's largest centers for banking, insurance and fintech. Payment systems, trading tools and internal platforms can run close to UK customers and partners.
London is well connected to continental Europe and across the Atlantic, which suits services centered on the UK and Ireland that also have users in Europe and North America.
Latency estimates
Estimated round-trip time from our London data center to the nearest major cities. Use the looking glass to estimate from your own city.
Estimates from great-circle distance: RTT ≈ 2 × distance ÷ 200 km/ms × 1.45 + 2 ms. Real routes vary with the networks in between.
Audience and compliance
UK-focused SaaS, e-commerce, fintech, media and gaming companies, and international companies whose UK customers ask for UK hosting. Ireland is close by, so a London server also covers Irish users.
Four configurations are available, all ready in minutes: Core 16 ($299/mo), Core 16X ($399/mo), Pro 32 ($749/mo) and Pro 48 ($999/mo). Pro 48, with 48 cores and 576 GB of memory, is the largest and suits databases and SaaS back ends. For GPU, Storage or Max servers in Europe, use Amsterdam or Frankfurt, which are in the EU rather than the UK.
The UK applies the UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018, as amended by the Data (Use and Access) Act 2025, under the supervision of the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO). The EU renewed its adequacy decision for the UK in December 2025, so personal data can flow from the EU to the UK without additional transfer tools, and UK rules allow transfers to the EEA. Hosting in London keeps data physically in the UK; on unmanaged servers, encryption, access control and backups remain yours.
FAQ
Four configurations: Core 16 ($299/mo), Core 16X ($399/mo), Pro 32 ($749/mo) and Pro 48 ($999/mo). All are pre-racked and usually delivered within 15 minutes of payment with your operating system installed. Larger and specialized servers are available in Amsterdam and Frankfurt.
Yes. The server is physically located in London, so data stored on it stays in the UK unless you copy it elsewhere. Backups to another location move data too: a second London server keeps them in the UK, while Amsterdam or Frankfurt place them in the EU.
Choose London when most users are in the UK and Ireland or when data must stay in the UK. Choose Amsterdam when users are spread across continental Europe or you need GPU, Storage or Max servers, which London does not offer. You can also run both and link them with an encrypted tunnel over your unmetered ports.
London is well connected across the Atlantic, but US users will be closer to New York or Ashburn. If your audience is split between the UK and the US East Coast, compare our labeled latency estimates and test real paths with the looking glass before choosing.
Core 16 from $299/mo, 4 configurations ready in minutes, unmetered traffic on every port.
