Overview

Where Max 192 fits.

Max 192 is the flagship of the lineup: two AMD EPYC 9655 processors with 192 cores and 384 threads, 1.5 TB of DDR5-6000 ECC across 24 DIMMs, four 7.68 TB NVMe Gen5 drives and two 100 Gbps ports with unmetered traffic. It is built for in-memory analytics, large-scale consolidation and HPC jobs that need as many cores and as much memory as possible in one machine. It costs $2,999/mo and is usually delivered the same day.

Ideal for

  • In-memory analytics
  • Server consolidation
  • HPC and scientific computing
  • High-throughput data pipelines

192 cores, 384 threads

Two EPYC 9655 processors at 2.6 GHz base and 4.5 GHz boost, the most compute in a single FlexDedi server.

1.5 TB on 24 channels

Each socket has 12 DDR5-6000 channels with one 64 GB module per channel, for 1.5 TB and the full bandwidth of both sockets.

2 × 100 Gbps, unmetered

The fastest ports in the lineup, for data pipelines, replication and high-volume delivery with no egress fees.

FAQ

Max 192, answered.

How should I handle NUMA on Max 192?

Each EPYC 9655 has its own 12 memory channels, so memory attached to the other socket takes longer to reach. Keep a process or VM within one socket where possible, using numactl or the NUMA options in Proxmox VE and KVM, and let NUMA-aware databases place memory themselves. Workloads that fit in one socket's 96 cores and 768 GB can also run as two isolated halves.

Should I choose Max 192 or two Max 96 servers?

Two Max 96 servers cost $3,798/mo and give more total memory (2 × 1,152 GB), twice the drives and failure isolation between machines. One Max 192 costs $2,999/mo and gives a single 1.5 TB memory space and 2 × 100 Gbps ports, which suits jobs that cannot be split across servers.

What is 2 × 100 Gbps useful for?

Moving large datasets, replicating storage or serving high-volume traffic without hitting the port limit early. Traffic is unmetered on both ports, with no monthly cap and no egress fees. To use that bandwidth, plan for parallel streams, since a single TCP connection rarely fills a 100 Gbps link.

Where is Max 192 available and how fast is delivery?

Max 192 is available in Ashburn, Amsterdam and Frankfurt for $2,999/mo. It is assembled to order and usually delivered the same day. For more memory, other drives or several servers, ask for a custom build or fleet quote.
