Overview
Storage 264 combines twelve 22 TB hard drives (264 TB raw) with two 1.92 TB NVMe drives, a 16-core AMD EPYC 4565P, 128 GB of DDR5 ECC and a 25 Gbps port with unmetered traffic. It is sized for backup repositories, object storage and media libraries that need hundreds of terabytes and fast reads without egress fees. It costs $699/mo and is assembled to order, usually delivered the same day.
Ideal for
264 TB raw that you lay out yourself: about 220 TB usable in RAIDZ2 across all twelve drives, or 132 TB in mirrors (estimates, before filesystem overhead).
Two 1.92 TB NVMe drives hold the operating system and can serve as a mirrored ZFS special vdev or a separate write log.
Restores, replication and media delivery run on an unmetered port, with no traffic cap and nothing extra to pay for reading data back.

FAQ
Use them as a mirrored boot volume and, with ZFS, as a mirrored special vdev that stores metadata and small blocks, which speeds up directory listings and backup indexing. Because a special vdev is part of the pool, losing it loses the pool, so always mirror it. Other options are a separate log device for synchronous writes or a fast tier for hot data.
As an estimate, rewriting a full 22 TB drive at an assumed sustained 250 MB/s takes about 24 hours, and longer while the array is busy. That is why double parity, RAIDZ2 or RAID 6, is the safer default: the array still tolerates another failure during the rebuild. ZFS only resilvers allocated data, so a partly full pool rebuilds faster.
For large sequential transfers, roughly yes: as an estimate, twelve drives reading at an assumed 200 to 250 MB/s each deliver about 19 to 24 Gbps before parity and filesystem overhead. Random reads of small files are much slower on hard drives, which is where the NVMe tier and the 128 GB of memory for caching help.
